I participated in a four day writers retreat in L.A. led by John Eisner from the Lark. I began work on a new play THREE STORIES, which is loosely based on a family story about my grandmother, but is actually about how and why we tell stories, and how we sometimes lose control of them.
I spent a week in July at one of Erik Ehn’s silent retreats. I wrote a bunch of words for a new fiction idea and a bit on a new play. The silence and the exercises take you in all kinds of new writing directions. More about the silent retreats here
